Vision and Mission
Vision
Our vision is to make each Member Board’s Drainage District and water catchment a safe place to live, work, learn and have fun, as a model of sustainable living in a flood risk area.
Mission
We aim to:

1. |
Reduce the flood risk to people, property, infrastructure and the natural environment by providing and MAINTAINING technically, environmentally and economically sustainable flood defences within our hydraulic catchment areas.

2. |
Provide a ONE-STOP flood risk, drainage and water level management service in our areas, by working closely with Local Authorities, the Environment Agency and other stakeholders.
|
|
3. |
Enable and facilitate land use for residential, commercial, recreational and environmental purposes by guiding and regulating activities.
|
|
4. |
Nurture, enhance and maintain the natural habitats and species, which exist in and alongside watercourses. |
